Social Investment Research Associate, Asia-Pacific Equities
Description/Responsibilities
We are seeking a full-time Research Associate for the Social
Investment Research department. The Research Associate will be responsible for
conducting social and environmental research on companies in Domini's Asia-Pacific
investment universe. Tasks will include reading and analyzing company
documents, press articles, and third-party reports in order to evaluate
companies according to Domini's standards regarding environmental management,
product quality, and corporate relations with customers, employees, investors,
and communities. Associates will also assist Lead Analysts in conducting
industry and country-related research.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's
degree in related field (humanities, social science, and finance or
business grads equally welcome)
- Familiarity
with, and interest in, social and environmental issues
- Solid
writing and research skills, including the ability to produce definitive
analysis
- Fluency
in Japanese, including the ability to read and translate corporate
publications, and to write occasional business correspondence
- Knowledge
of another Asian foreign language is a plus
