Amy Domini
Founder and CEO
<Amy
Domini is Founder and CEO of Domini Social Investments. She is widely
recognized as the leading voice for socially responsible investing. In 2005, Time magazine named her to the Time 100
list of the world’s most influential people.In 2006, she was awarded an honorary Doctor of Business
Administration degree from Northeastern University College of Law. Yale University’s Berkeley Divinity School
presented Ms. Domini with an honorary doctorate in 2007.
Ms. Domini is the
author of Socially Responsible
Investing: Making a Difference and Making Money (Dearborn Trade, 2001) and The
Challenges of Wealth (Dow Jones
Irwin, 1988), and a coauthor of Investing
for Good (Harper
Collins, 1993),The Social
Investment Almanac (Henry
Holt, 1992), and Ethical
Investing (Addison-Wesley,
1984). She is a frequent guest commentator on CNBC’s Talking
Stocks and various other radio and
television shows.
Ms. Domini is a past board member of the Church Pension Fund of the
Episcopal Church in America; the National Association of Community Development
Loan Funds, an organization whose members work to create funds for grassroots
economic development loans; and the Interfaith Center on Corporate
Responsibility, the major sponsor of shareholder actions. She is a member of
the Boston Security Analysts Society.
Ms. Domini holds a B.A. in international and comparative studies from
Boston University, and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
Carole M. Laible
President and Chief Operating Officer
Carole
M. Laible is President and Chief Operating Officer of Domini Social Investments
LLC. She joined the company at its inception in November 1997, after more than
ten years of experience in the mutual fund industry. After serving for several
years as Domini’s Director of Finance and Compliance, Ms. Laible became Chief
Operating Officer and then President.
In
her current role, she serves on the Domini Standards Committee, which defines,
clarifies, and implements Domini’s Global Investment Standards, and she regularly
attends investment committee meetings. She plans, organizes, and is responsible
for the implementation of all the day-to-day activities of Domini, and
collaborates with Amy Domini, Chief Executive Officer, in the development of
overall business strategy and business plan implementation. Ms. Laible played a
key role in the launch of the Domini European Social Equity Trust, Domini
PacAsia Social Equity Trust, and Domini European PacAsia Social Equity Trust.
Ms.
Laible holds a B.S. in accountancy from St. John’s University and is a
Certified Public Accountant.
Steven D. Lydenberg
Chief Investment Officer
Steven D. Lydenberg
is Chief Investment Officer of Domini Social Investments and Vice President of
the Domini Funds. He has been active in social research since 1975. Mr.
Lydenberg was a founder of KLD Research & Analytics, Inc. and served as its
research director from 1990 to 2001. From 1987 to 1989, he was an associate
with Franklin Research and Development Corporation (now known as Trillium Asset
Management). For 12 years he worked with the Council on Economic Priorities,
ultimately as director of corporate accountability research.
Mr. Lydenberg has written
numerous publications on issues of corporate social responsibility. He is the
author of Corporations and the
Public Interest (Berrett-Koehler,
2005), coauthor of Investing for
Good(Harper
Collins, 1993), coeditor ofThe
Social Investment Almanac(Henry Holt, 1992), and coauthor of Rating America’s Corporate Conscience (Addison-Wesley, 1986). He has published articles
including “Trust Building
and Trust Busting: Corporations, Government and Responsibilities”
(Journal of Corporate Citizenship, Autumn 2003) and “Envisioning Socially
Responsible Investing: A Model for 2006” (Journal of Corporate Citizenship, Autumn 2002). Mr.
Lydenberg is a fellow with the Institute for Responsible Investment and is a
member of the Boston Security Analysts Society.
Mr. Lydenberg holds
a B.A. in English from Columbia College and an M.F.A. in theater arts from Cornell
University, and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
Managing Directors
Adam M. Kanzer
Managing Director and General Counsel
Adam Kanzer is Managing Director and General Counsel of Domini Social
Investments and Chief Legal Officer of the Domini Funds. His responsibilities
include directing Domini’s shareholder advocacy department, where he has led
numerous dialogues with corporations on a wide range of social and
environmental issues. He currently serves as co-chair of the Contract Supplier
Working Group at the Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility, focusing on
improving working conditions in corporate global supply chains.
Prior to joining Domini in 1998, Mr. Kanzer was a litigator
for four and a half years with the firm of Cahill Gordon & Reindel in New
York City. In October 1997, Mr. Kanzer volunteered as an international observer
of the South African Truth and Reconciliation Commission.
Mr. Kanzer holds a B.A. in political science from the
University of Pennsylvania and a J.D. from Columbia Law School.
Maurice Tallini
Managing Director and Chief Compliance
Officer
Maurice Tallini is
Managing Director and Chief Compliance Officer of Domini Social Investments and
the Domini Funds. Mr. Tallini is responsible for developing and administering
Domini’s and the Domini Funds’ compliance policies and procedures. Before
joining Domini, he was venture capital controller at Rho Capital Partners,
where he was responsible for the overall accounting and administration of
various venture capital and private equity limited partnerships. Prior to that,
he was a manager in the investment management group of PricewaterhouseCoopers,
where he managed the completion of audits of major mutual fund complexes,
private equity funds, and SEC-regulated investment advisors.
Mr. Tallini holds a
B.B.A. in accounting from Hofstra University and is a Certified Public
Accountant.

Director of Marketing & Communications
Adam Deixel is Director of
Marketing and Communications at Domini Social Investments. Prior to joining Domini in 2006, he was director of third party sales at Credit
Suisse Asset Management, where he had broad responsibilities in the management
of the mutual fund and separately-managed accounts businesses. Earlier in his investment management career, he worked in
sales, marketing, and relationship management
positions at Bankers Trust, NatWest Investment Management, and BEA Associates.
Mr. Deixel holds an A.B. in
history from Vassar College, and M.A. and M.Phil degrees in history from
Columbia University.

T. S. MacDonagh
SRI Portfolio Manager
Jeff MacDonagh, CFA, is SRI Portfolio Manager of Domini
Social Investments. Prior to joining Domini, Mr. MacDonagh was an assistant
portfolio manager at Loring, Wolcott & Coolidge Fiduciary Advisors from
2003 to 2005. His responsibilities included portfolio management, screening for
social investments, proxy voting, and community development investing. From
2000 to 2003, he was a social investment researcher at KLD Research &
Analytics, Inc.
Mr. MacDonagh holds a B.S. in mathematics, physics, and
philosophy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and an M.S. in technology
policy and an M.S. in environmental planning from the Massachusetts Institute
of Technology. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
Christina M. Povall
Director of Finance
Christina Povall is Director of Finance of Domini Social
Investments. Prior to joining Domini, Ms. Povall worked for
PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP as audit senior manager in the Investment Management
practice, where she managed the completion of audits of major mutual fund
complexes, private equity funds, hedge funds, and SEC-regulated investment
advisors.
Ms. Povall holds a B.B.A. in accountancy from Pace
University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Edward J. Surges
Director of Information Technology &
Special Projects Manager
Edward Surges is Director of Information Technology and Special Projects
Manager of Domini Social Investments. Before joining Domini, Mr.
Surges served as a consultant for the Texas State Department of
Human Services and the Texas Welfare Eligibility System, where
he provided detailed planning and scheduling analysis as well as system
integration management. Earlier in his career, Mr. Surges worked as a
network administrator and mainframe programmer for the University of Texas at
Austin and the Washington Post.
Mr. Surges holds a B.A. in English literature from
Colorado College and an M.S. in information science from Columbia University.

Shin Furuya
Lead SRI Analyst for Asian Pacific Equities
Shin Furuya is the lead SRI analyst responsible for the
application of the Funds’ social and environmental standards to Asia-Pacific
equities. Mr. Furuya was previously a research analyst from 2004 to 2006 for
the Investor Responsibility Research Center (now a division of Institutional
Shareholder Services), where he was a lead researcher for custom Japanese SRI
projects. From 1999 to 2002, he was the national coordinator for the Economic
Relations and Human Rights Program and the Refugee Program at Amnesty
International Japan. He also participated in various consultation processes for
the United Nations and the World Bank Group. Mr. Furuya is a member of the
Social Investment Research Analyst Network (SIRAN), and of the New York Society
of Security Analysts (NYSSA).
Mr. Furuya holds a B.A. in political science and
international studies from the University of Oregon, an M.A. in international
relations, and a certificate of advanced studies in
environmental dispute resolution from the Maxwell School of Citizenship
& Public Affairs, Syracuse University.
Tessie Petion
Lead SRI Analyst for European Equities
Tessie Petion is the lead
SRI analyst responsible for the application of the Funds’ social and
environmental standards to European equities. Ms. Petion worked as an analyst
and associate in Deutsche Bank’s Global Institutional Services department from
2000 to 2002, and in international sales for the New York Stock Exchange from
2003 to 2004. In 2006, she worked in the Dominican Republic as a consultant for
the Consejo Nacional de Competitividad and in India as a consultant for the
microfinance institution Basix.
Ms. Petion holds a B.S. in
business administration and management information systems from the University
at Albany, SUNY; an M.A. in psychology from Tufts University; and an M.A. in
international business and development from the Fletcher School of Tufts
University.
Karen Shapiro
Shareholder Advocacy Associate
Karen Shapiro is Shareholder Advocacy Associate of Domini
Social Investments. She has led numerous dialogues with companies on a range of
environmental issues including global warming, sustainable forestry, toxics,
and sustainability reporting. Prior to joining Domini in 2005, Ms. Shapiro was
deputy director of the Business & Sustainability Group at Tellus Institute,
a nonprofit research and consulting organization. She previously worked as a
research assistant at the Center for the Biology of Natural Systems at Queens
College, under the direction of Barry Commoner.
Ms. Shapiro holds a B.S. in environmental science from Cook
College, Rutgers University, and an M.S. in environmental health management
from the Harvard School of Public Health.
Celine Suarez
Research Manager and Lead SRI Analyst for North American Equities
Celine Suarez is the lead SRI analyst responsible for the
application of the Funds’ social and environmental standards to North American
equities. Ms. Suarez was previously assistant vice president and research
analyst from 2004 to 2006 for the Smith Barney Social Awareness Investment
Program at Citigroup Asset Management (now a subsidiary of Legg Mason). From
2001 to 2004, she was the environmental analyst at Winslow Management Company,
an environmentally screened mutual fund company in Boston, where she headed the
company’s environmental research on small-cap companies, assisted in equity
analysis, and was managing editor of Winslow
Environmental News. Ms. Suarez is a founding member and co-chair of the
Social Investment Research Analyst Network (SIRAN), and is a member of the New
York Society of Security Analysts (NYSSA).
Ms. Suarez holds a B.S. in earth system science from the
University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
